Hey ya'll, I hope this finds everyone doing okay. Man, it has been a hot summer, and I have had to work hard not to lose my figure. I’ve been sweating like Mike Tyson in a spelling bee on stage. It has been so great to play some new places and have all of ya'll support me. I have been working hard on getting Second Helping's finished up. I think it is gonna be bad ass. Got some really cool songs and some really cool artist on there.
I just took a few days off for the first time in a long time. My beautiful wife Jessica and I went down to Gulf Shores for a few days. I hope ya'll can all keep her in your prayers as she is still dealing with this terrible thing called Morgellons. Without her there would be no Colt Ford!
I have been so lucky to have such great friends and family that support me on the road. I hope ya'll know how much I love ya'll. I’ve been blessed with a great band and crew that make my life better. I will never take ya'll for granted because without ya'll I could not play music. I get asked all the time why I don't have my songs played on the radio more. Well, I wish I could, but I have no control over that. I ain't sure why some stations won't play me. I guess ya'll can keep calling and request it, and maybe one day they will give me a chance, but if they don't that will be okay. I will keep making the best music I can make for ya'll.
Please keep praying for our troops overseas, and I can't wait to see ya'll on the road.
