Hey ya'll! Hope everyone is great. Things have been real busy and that is a good thing because it means all ya’ll want to see this fat guy play some music! I love it and love meeting and greeting everyone, so come on out to talk to me before the shows. I have been to some new places lately - I got to play at Billy Bob's in Texas and that was really cool. There have been so many legendary artists who are my heroes that have played there. I am looking forward to going back to Texas this week.
My 6 Song EP and DVD came out last week at Walmart. It is such an honor to be the first truly independent artist to have a Walmart exclusive. I am working hard to finish my second album that I’m calling Chicken & Biscuits. This thing is gonna be FUN! I am so excited about this record!! It’s got a bunch of cool artist cameos and some kick ass songs.
I got to play with Jason Aldean again last week. He is awesome to work with. He lets me do my thing and doesn't try to hold me back. That is a real big deal for me. If ya'll get a chance, tell him THANK YOU from me. How great would it be for he and I to do a song together?!?!! Ya'll help me out and send him a message on MySpace and his website and tell him a song with the two of us would be bad ass! I’m also trying to get Kenny Chesney on one. I want to do songs with folks who are real and who ya'll like also. Send those guys a message - tell them to help your boy COLT FORD!
I love ya'll and I am always thankful for the love and support ya'll give me. Remember, I make music for ya'll and I am gonna keep on doing it as long as ya'll want me to. See ya down the road!
